Education and Surgical Training
Dr. Snyder received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Vanderbilt University. He completed a combined general and plastic surgery residency at Stanford University in 1995 and spent a fellowship year at the Australian Cranio-facial unit. Following his plastic surgery training Dr. Snyder established regional programs in cranio-facial and cosmetic surgery with Kaiser Permanente In Northern California and served on the clinical faculty at Stanford University.
Decades of Experience in Facial, Breast, and Body Surgery
A highly skilled and sought after surgeon, Dr. Snyder specializes in cosmetic surgery of the face, breast and body as well as facial and breast reconstruction. With decades of experience and vast knowledge of facial structure and anatomy, Dr. Snyder is also an expert in non-surgical treatments such as botox, dermal fillers and laser treatments. He has been Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons since 1998 and re-certified twice since that time.
Dr. Snyder is committed to providing the most advanced up to date care in a safe and comfortable setting. He considers plastic surgery to be an art form which can not only enhance a patient’s physical appearance but also their self-confidence and sense of well being.
Prior to joining Napa Solano Plastic Surgery, Dr. Snyder enjoyed a large and thriving practice at Ponte Vedra Plastic Surgery in northeast Florida. However, with his three children off to college and grad school, he and his wife decided it was time to move back to their beloved Napa Valley, where they lived many years ago. Dr. Snyder is thrilled to join Drs. Bill McClure and Brian Klink at Napa Solano Plastic Surgery.
Dedicated to service, Dr. Snyder has served with the Nemours Children’s Clinic and the Jacksonville Cleft and Cranio-facial program. He regularly travels overseas to provide surgical care and training to people in need. He has served the children of numerous countries including Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, Guatemala and Peru.
Life in Napa Valley and Personal Interests
An outdoor enthusiast, Dr. Snyder is an experienced mountain climber, snow skier and accomplished triathlete. He resides in Napa with his wife, Susan and frequent visits from their three children, Thomas, Sarah and Luke.
